Hymns for the 2’s and 3’s are a great way to familiarize them with not only the Bible story but with truths from God’s word that will stick with them much longer than just telling them.  Using engaging, appropriate pictures helps motivate them to participate and gives visual cues to help them remember the hymn.  Asking the song leader to sing the hymn your class is singing will help the young child connect with the worship service.

Joy To The World is a great one when  studying Baby Jesus.
