Looking Back at 2013

by | Dec 31, 2013 | About Me | 4 comments

Each year, the folks at WordPress send me a year end report. It’s nice to look back and see the results of this blog. Their report lets me know what posts were viewed the most, who wrote the most frequent comments, where my visitors came from. For instance, the day I had the most hits (a whopping 969) was July 27th when I shared Attendance Charts.

I’m not the most regular blogger. I don’t write everyday or even every week. I write when I have time — which is usually in the Summer months. I didn’t start this blog to make money or achieve fame or get the most followers. I started it simply to share some of my ideas and make them easy for others to use. I have been approached to include ads or sell products. I’ve tried that in the past and decided that it wasn’t for me. I want my blog to be clutter free. I want my visitors to know that everything they see on my blog is free for their use with no strings attached.

My blog is not professionally done. I use a free theme that has glitches of its own. What I write and share is bound to have plenty of mistakes. Even so, I can tell from the feedback I get and from the stats I see that my visitors find it useful and are willing to overlook the glitches and mistakes. For that I am thankful. I appreciate those who point out errors on my blog. Those of you who notify me when a link doesn’t work or a pdf doesn’t load save me and other visitors a bunch of headache.

If you would like to see the report WordPress sent to me, you can see it here: Bible Songs And More Year End Report.

Thank you for visiting my blog and encouraging me to continue. my desire is that you are inspired to teach the word of God to the children around you. I hope that I have contributed in some small way to make your work easier.

i thought I would share with you the top posts from 2013:
